When to choose 1U colocation
1U colocation is best for a single rackmount server or appliance. It is useful for small production systems, backups, monitoring appliances and specialist hardware.
When to choose a quarter rack
A quarter rack gives you around 10U of dedicated rack space, which is ideal when you have several devices or want a cleaner separation than individual U space.
When to choose a full rack
A full rack gives you a dedicated 42U environment for larger server estates, storage, network infrastructure or private cloud deployments.
Plan for growth
